At Trail's Dynasty Miniature Golf and Creamery, people can golf, eat ice cream, and have a great time all within the small town of Indian Trail. The business opened April 23, 2014 after years of planning by owners Amy and Scott Merritt.

Scott Merritt wanted to do something to reach out to local families and began to brainstorm about his childhood and some of the things that defined it for him. As a result, he came up with the miniature golf and ice cream, which led to the creation creation of Trail's Dynasty Miniature Golf and Creamery. The idea for the business was put on hold for a while, but Trail's Dynasty eventually opened in April 2014.

Since opening, they have had a lot of business from people locally as well as from many organizations and groups in the area. The miniature golf course consists of 18 hols and they offer 32 different flavors of Hershey's Ice Cream inside the business. The course has a water wheel, waterfall, speakers, and automatic night lights. They enjoy seeing all the different people who come by and want their business to be a place where families and others can come to have fun, socialize and bond with each other.
